Project 4: Final!

So the semester has come to its end. I really enjoyed myself in this class, and I did learn some new things about Photoshop. Our final project was left open to us, under one condition: we needed to do our assignment based off one of the assignments from the website, learningtoloveyoumore.com. I chose to do assignment #11: Photograph a scar and write about it. But instead of writing about it, I revisited the diptych assignment, where instead of writing about it, I photographed instead.

Project 3: LandeScapes

Project: combining several images to make one realistic/convincing image of a place of personal utopia.

Project 2: Alter Reality..Create Meaning

Or in my case...create mystery!

Project #1

roots vs branches

human vs nature

light vs dark

Diptychs

I went out on this project trying to shoot tiny details of everyday life that would usually go unnoticed. After viewing all my photos, I came up with relationships between the photos. I really like going to into projects without any preliminary ideas and then seeing what I come up with.

Blog!

Finally, an excuse to start a blog. I've always wanted to try, but now I have a reason! Hopefully you enjoy looking at my photos. The class is half over, so I have a good amount of stuff to show you. Enjoy!
